Walkathon - Friday, June 7th

Posted on

Dear Parents, Guardians, & Sponsors:

The Friends of Banded Peak Society is planning its major annual fundraiser, the Banded Peak School Walk a Thon. This event will take place on Friday, June 7, 2024.

Last year our amazing students raised over $18,300. We hope to match or exceed last year’s earnings so we can purchase a computer cart with new laptop computers and an outdoor speaker system. Any additional funds will support our mission to enhance student learning.

We encourage all students to actively engage in fundraising for this event by collecting pledges.  Students are required to find sponsors to support their fundraising efforts. Pledge sheets are provided to help students track their donations and do not need to be turned in.

Payment Instructions: Students are encouraged to collect pledges directly from sponsors and then make one consolidated payment by credit card to Friends of Banded Peak Society. Payments can be made at . We cannot issue tax receipts at this time.

Online donations must be received by midnight on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Cash and cheques will be accepted at the school office until 3pm on June 4, 2024. Donations received after these times will not be eligible for prizes.

Prizes will be awarded to the students and classes that raise the most money:
